Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join the Space RF Systems SEIT team. You will lead traditional systems engineering tasks, interface with multiple organizations, and drive continuous improvement of SE capabilities.

Responsibilities include capturing customer needs, deriving subsystem requirements, and supporting system test and documentation. A TS clearance is highly valued, with ITAR compliance a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of traditional systems engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of life cycle processes, requirements management, and verification methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Capture and manage product requirements for multiple projects.
• Derive and allocate subsystem requirements with RF engineers.
• Support system test planning, verification, and validation.
• Create technical documentation and interface documents using Word, Excel, Visio.
• Participate in formal technical reviews with stakeholders.
• Provide life cycle support for changes to product baselines for customers.
