Job summary

AV is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to join our Space RF Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) Team as an electromagnetics and RF SME. You will lead RF tasks across multiple projects, developing RF models and simulations for products under development, and coordinating with stakeholders and other engineering disciplines.

You may head special RF projects. You will design phased arrays and antenna systems, create PCB layouts, analyze RF characteristics, and contribute to white papers

Qualifications

• 8+ years of RF Engineering experience.
• Experience developing RF models.
• Solid understanding of phased array and antenna theory.
• Deep understanding of transmission line theory in support of PCB development.

Responsibilities

• Evolve high fidelity RF modeling and simulations.
• Develop detailed RF characterizations and designs in HPC environments.
• Collaborate with model users and systems engineers to enable best use of RF products.
• Produce designs consistent with RF engineering best practices.
• Lead RF project tasks and head special RF projects as needed.
• Create microwave PCB layouts and analyze RF characteristics for OTA performance.
