Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking aSenior Program Scheduler to lead schedule planning and maintenance for complex programs, coordinating across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and finance to support execution and customer requirements.

You will develop integrated master schedules, baselines, and performance analyses, while guiding schedule health, forecasting, and recovery planning across programs with executive dashboards and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, operations management, finance, or a related field with 5–8 years of related experience; Master's degree with 3–6 years in program scheduling or project controls.
• Advanced knowledge of program scheduling, integrated master scheduling, and project planning principles.
• Experience developing integrated master schedules, schedule baselines, forecasting models, and schedule performance analyses for complex programs.
• Strong understanding of critical path methodology, schedule risk analysis, earned value concepts, resource planning, and lifecycle management.
• Experience evaluating schedule performance, identifying schedule risks, and developing recovery strategies.
• Experience leading cross-functional scheduling activities while balancing priorities and milestones.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Open Plan or equivalent.
• Data analysis and collaboration tools such as Power BI, SharePoint, Jira, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated master schedules, baselines, and planning methodologies for complex programs.
• Evaluate scope, WBS, resources, milestones, and dependencies to create executable schedules.
• Conduct schedule planning meetings, baseline reviews, and updates throughout the program lifecycle.
• Lead integrated schedule management across multiple functional areas.
• Evaluate schedule performance, critical path activities, variances, forecasting, and risks.
• Validate schedule integrity through health assessments, baseline control, forecasting, and recovery planning.
• Coordinate with management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, contracts, and production.
• Develop schedule reports, milestone charts, dashboards, metrics, and analyses for reviews and decisions.
• Coordinate reviews, customer meetings, and cross-functional planning with schedule guidance.
• Manage scheduling documentation, baselines, change records, and forecasting data.
• Evaluate processes and opportunities to improve execution.
• Develop improvements to enhance accuracy, forecasting, reporting, and coordination.
