Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Senior Program Manager (Program Manager 3) to lead large cross-functional teams through shaping, capture, design, integration, test and fielding of space systems. The role focuses on delivering contractual requirements on cost and schedule while achieving technical goals and strong customer alignment.

Responsibilities include leading IPTs, building roadmaps, managing budgets with EVM, negotiating terms, and ensuring adherence to internal processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years or Master’s with 8+ years of experience in government contracts or program management.
• Experience leading large, high-performance teams.
• Proven ability to manage cost, schedule and technical performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional IPTs to meet program cost, schedule and technical objectives.
• Develop organizational vision and roadmap with leadership.
• Manage customer relationships and pursue new opportunities through proposals and plans.
• Adhere to budget baselines and EVMS/cost-control practices.
