Job summary

Lunar Outpost in Colorado is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and integration of high‑voltage power systems for our LTV EPS and vehicle power electronics. You will own HV distribution, switching devices, and fault management from concept through flight.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in HV/high‑power electrical designs, hands‑on PCB work, and strong collaboration with mechanical, software, and harness teams. US Person status is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• 12+ years designing high-voltage or high-power electrical systems.
• Experience with power electronics, distribution, motor control, or aerospace power systems.
• Hands-on hardware development from concept to flight.
• Proficient in Altium Designer and EMI/EMC mitigation.
• US Person designation per eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and development of EPS and vehicle power electronics.
• Design 120V-class HV power distribution, conditioning, protection, and control circuits.
• Own electrical hardware development from concept to flight.
• Develop vehicle power architectures for batteries, motors, energy storage, and charging interfaces.
• Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, software, systems, and harnessing teams.
• Support hardware bring-up, troubleshooting, verification testing, and integration.
• Define electrical requirements and verification approaches for HV/HPC subsystems.
• Mentor engineers and establish best practices for HV power system development.
