Job summary

Lunar Outpost Inc. in Colorado is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to lead the architecture, design, and integration of high‑voltage power systems for spacecraft and vehicle subsystems.

You will own hardware development from concept to flight, collaborate across engineering teams, and mentor others while ensuring safety, reliability, and performance in a fast‑paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 12+ years in designing high-voltage/high-power electrical systems.
• Experience with power electronics, power distribution, motor control, aerospace power systems.
• Schematic design and hardware development for power applications.
• 100VDC+ operation and high-current power distribution experience.
• Root-cause analysis and hardware integration.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer and EMI/EMC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and development of EPS and vehicle power electronics.
• Design and analyze 120V-class high-voltage power distribution, conditioning, protection, and control circuits.
• Own electrical hardware development from concept through flight, including requirements, schematics, PCB layout, test, and integration.
• Develop vehicle-level power architectures with batteries, motor drives, energy storage, and charging interfaces.
• Mentor electrical engineers and drive best practices for high-voltage power systems.
