L3Harris Technologies in Massachusetts is seeking a Sr Integration & Test Engineer for Space Payloads. The role focuses on system design, integration of electro-optical space payloads, and leading teams in a fast-paced environment. A DoD security clearance eligibility is required or expected.

The position offers relocation support and a sign-on bonus up to $20K, with a 9/80 schedule. Robust experience in space hardware, testing, and MBSE is preferred to drive program success.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related scientific discipline with 6 years of relevant systems engineering experience; or graduate degree with at least 4 years in related work.
• 2+ years experience in Space and/or Aerospace testing techniques using environmental testing methods like thermal vacuum and vibration.
• Professional experience using Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and MATLAB.

Responsabilidades

• System Design and Integration: Develop and integrate advanced electro-optical systems for space-based applications, ensuring compliance with all relevant specifications and mission requirements.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers, overseeing and ensuring technical execution of projects.
• Mission Payload AI&T Management: Manage major subcontract cost, schedule, and performance and oversee the overall Mission Payload Flight AI&T activities.
• Testing and Validation: Design, plan, and execute test procedures for electro-optical components and systems; analyze data to validate performance.
• Requirements Management: Define, manage, and maintain system and sub-system level requirements with traceability.
• Project Execution: Lead multidisciplinary teams from concept to final delivery and operation.
• Documentation and Reporting: Produce test plans, procedures, reports and anomaly reports.
• Trade Studies: Develop and evaluate trade studies for informed decisions.
• Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders including government customers.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and QA.
• Written and Oral Communication: Present technical information to non-technical professionals.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements in test methods and integration.
• Training and Mentoring: Mentor junior engineers; support their development.
• Clearance: Eligible for DoD security clearance.
