Job summary

KBR is seeking a seasoned operations leader in Colorado Springs to support AFRL DRAGON Army and Joint Commercial Operations. The role links users with modeling/simulation, training, and emerging commercial space capabilities, emphasizing TACSRT, SDA, and mission readiness.

The candidate will lead exercise planning, design, and execution, coordinate with government partners, and develop assessment criteria for training events and capability demonstrations. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related operational experience.
• Experience with TACSRT, ISR, SDA, space operations, or related planning functions.
• Experience planning and executing major military exercises or rehearsals.
• Strong understanding of Joint planning processes and JELC.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
• Proven ability to brief senior leaders.
• Experience with operational software tools, visualization platforms, or mission applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel to support mission requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for TACSRT, SDA, and commercial space integration.
• Support analysis, visualization, reporting, and mission execution for JCO and customers.
• Provide operational assessments and recommendations to improve mission effectiveness.
• Support real-world ops, training events, rehearsals, and experiments.
• Deliver daily briefings and analytical products to government stakeholders.
• Analyze information to support mission planning and decision-making.
• Plan and design during the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC).
• Coordinate with Combatant Commands to integrate commercial space into exercises.
• Support exercise development, scenario design, and after-action reporting.
• Facilitate workshops, tabletop exercises, and mission rehearsals.
• Develop objectives, measures of effectiveness, and assessment criteria.
• Support DRAGON Army Ops Days and related trainings.
