Job summary

MCSG Technologies seeks a Modeling and Simulation (M&S) developer to support scenario development using current Systems Toolkit (STK) capabilities and Paladin suite. The role includes operating within Linux-based environments, Docker containers, and testing third-party M&S tools for government exercises.

You will work with USSF exercise planners on conferences, rehearsals, and execution, requiring on-site support at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited institution.
• Experience in space M&S capabilities for system evaluation and mission effectiveness.
• Experience with orbital maneuvers analysis and orbital/space domain models.
• Basic proficiency in Python, Matlab or Perl and Linux terminal usage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with USSF exercise planners to determine M&S requirements.
• Create orbital and terrestrial models and simulations using STK, Paladin, SWARM.
• Support software operations via Linux VMs and Docker/Kubernetes deployments.
• Develop and test M&S capabilities for exercise requirements and evaluations.
• Identify gaps and propose timely, realistic exercise capabilities.
