Job summary

Space Systems Integration (SSI) seeks a Multi-Domain Sensing Engineer/Model Simulation Analyst in Colorado Springs, CO. You will lead MW/MT sensing and modeling efforts, developing simulations with AFSIM and integrating STK/SOAP capabilities to support Space Force force design decisions.

The role requires strong technical depth in MW/MT, extensive M&S experience, and the ability to communicate results to diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership, with applicable security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of experience; Master’s degree with 7+ years.
• Experience developing complex space system models and simulations in AFSIM.
• Experience with STK and/or SOAP is highly desired.
• Ability to develop simulation scripts in Python and/or MATLAB.
• 5+ years in space system modeling and simulation; MW/MT domain knowledge.
• Strong communication skills and ability to brief senior leaders.
• Experience with classified environments, TS clearance and polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop missile/target simulations and trajectory files using AFSIM.
• Create modeling/analysis scripts with Python or MATLAB.
• Build space-based missile warning models with STK/SOAP and align force designs.
• Support force design analysis planning and results evaluation.
• Document dependencies and opportunities across DoD, IC, industry and allies.
• Assist with external M&S efforts and internal cross-functional planning.
• Coordinate with multiple agencies and organizations on tasks.
