Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Palm Bay, FL, seeks an experienced Senior Test Engineer to develop automated test solutions for analog and power management ICs used in space applications. You will work with product and design teams on test requirements, run characterization programs, and ensure robust production tests on the on-site floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
• 5+ years of experience developing and debugging test solutions for automated test environments.
• Experience testing analog and power management ICs (LDOs, PMICs, PWM controllers).
• Hands-on experience with automated test programs and test methodologies.
• Ability to analyze problems and develop effective test solutions.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop and implement automated test solutions for new analog and power management ICs.
• Define test requirements in collaboration with product development and design teams.
• Develop, debug, and execute characterization programs for device performance.
• Develop and optimize production test programs for automated test equipment (ATE).
• Design and troubleshoot load boards, schematics, and test hardware.
• Correlate automated test results with bench measurements for accuracy.
• Perform GR&R studies to evaluate measurement system performance.
• Conduct transient analysis, spike detection, and de-glitching to resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot complex test problems and propose practical solutions.
• Support validation and transfer of test solutions into production.
