Job summary

Loft Orbital Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Colorado to own detailed hardware design, from concept through delivery, across multiple space vehicle subsystems. You’ll work across diverse bus protocols and serve as the technical contact for electrical requirements with mechanical, systems, and program teams.

The role is hands-on and high-ownership, with opportunities to contribute to harness schematics, ICD reviews, and system-level electrical questions.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a design from concept through delivery.
• Familiarity with space or embedded bus protocols.
• Knowledge of space vehicle subsystems and electrical hardware integration.
• Ability to act as a technical point of contact for electrical requirements across teams.
• Willingness to flex into electrical systems tasks such as harnesses or ICD reviews.
• Senior-level experience in electrical engineering, ideally with FPGA exposure.

Responsibilities

• Own detailed board design work for upcoming missions and hardware.
• Be the technical face for electrical requirements across cross-functional teams.
• Work across bus protocols and electrical architectures of space vehicle subsystems.
• Support harness schematics, ICD reviews, and system-level electrical questions.
• Collaborate with hardware and electrical systems engineers on a growing board-design pipeline.
