Job summary

Space Dynamics Laboratory seeks a senior systems engineer to provide expert analysis on defense mission space and ground systems integration. You will assess architectures, verify end-to-end performance, and contribute to ICDs, SOWs, test plans, and ConOps.

Responsibilities include leading interface and IV&V groups, ensuring interoperability, and advising government program managers. Travel 6–9 weeks annually and collaboration with government and industry partners are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of space systems engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with space and ground subsystems.
• Ability to interpret customer-driven requirements and identify risks.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise related to defense mission space and ground systems integration.
• Assess system architecture, designs, implementation, and operations for interoperability and end-to-end performance.
• Develop ICDs, SOWs, test plans and procedures, ConOps, architecture and system descriptions.
