Moog Space Vehicles Group in Arvada, CO is hiring a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to design, update, and support spacecraft product lines. This on-site role combines hands-on engineering with collaboration across the Space Vehicles team and external partners.

You will contribute to proposals, analyses, and trade studies, and participate in gate reviews while ensuring design for manufacturability and robust documentation across programs.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• GD&T knowledge and drafting to ANSI standards required.
• Experience in engineering or manufacturing environment preferred.

Aufgaben

• Support the creation and modification of mechanical requirements and design for new and existing products.
• Review customer requests and develop conceptual CAD models to meet requirements.
• Evaluate design conformance to engineering principles, customer requirements, quality standards, and specs.
• Assist with drafting, documentation, and configuration management activities.
• Investigate production issues with existing designs during manufacturing.
• Coordinate manufacturability solutions and design for manufacturability with production designs.
• Design/test fixtures for environmental testing.
• Support ECR/ECO/DCO changes using PLM database.
