Job summary

Moog is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer in Arvada, CO to support the Space Vehicles production floor. The role involves creating work instructions, implementing continuous improvement, and coordinating with suppliers while adhering to ITAR and other regulations.

Travel 4–6 times/year is expected. Qualified candidates have an engineering degree or relevant experience, plus teamwork and hands-on project experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field or a bachelor's degree with relevant work experience to a manufacturing role.
• Early career professional; internship or co-op experience is a plus.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Some hands-on project experience.

Responsibilities

• Work and maintain confidential information.
• Be the support to the Space Vehicles production floor.
• Create work instructions and process documents, order and support manufacturing tooling, implement continuous improvement.
• Conduct mechanical and electrical manufacturing design reviews and offer improvement suggestions for manufacturability.
• Travel off-site domestically 4-6 times per year.
• Enforce and follow policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements such as ITAR.
• Provide reports to management on daily, weekly, and monthly performance to schedules and expenditures.
• Support technical exchange discussions with suppliers and Moog.
• Cross train to help in other areas.
• Complete any other tasks assigned by direct supervisor or Operations Manager.
