Job summary
Anduril Industries in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the full lifecycle of flight software, ground test software, and ground station software, spanning embedded and application levels. You will architect systems, mentor a team, and drive embedded, RF, computer vision, and data-processing capabilities for spacecraft missions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical/computer engineering, or similar field.
- 8+ years software engineering experience developing embedded, host, and product software.
- 3+ years leading a software team for small spacecraft.
- Experience developing subsystem requirements and reusable software architectures.
- Experience writing embedded C code and device drivers.
- Experience writing host-level GUI and database interfacing code.
- Experience with mature spacecraft programs including testing.
- Excellent communication and ability to present artifacts.
- U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain a TS clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design market-leading hardware-based products with cross-functional teams.
- Drive maturity through prototyping, verification, and qualification.
- Apply space-flight software design standards for high-reliability systems.
- Architect flight, ground, and payload systems to meet mission needs.
- Lead and mentor the software team, including supervision and growth.
- Translate mission needs into efficient, reusable software products.
