Job summary

SEAKR Engineering seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer for architecture development, digital board design, and full system integration in a space-focused program. You will lead a design team from specification to hardware delivery, with hands-on debugging and lab verification.

The role requires strong knowledge of FPGA/ASIC design, signal integrity, and environmental testing, plus leadership and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Travel may be limited.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required; Master's preferred.
• 8+ years of design experience.
• Extensive knowledge of circuit design and signal integrity.
• Led module debug and integration of module into system.
• Familiar with environmental test methods and flow.
• Understands worst case analysis.
• Ability to lead system integration and test of multiple digital boards, FPGA designs, and system software.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ability to lead and support junior engineers on a program team.
• Experience with digital and/or RF electronics design, schematic capture, FPGA design, embedded system design, single board computers, or embedded software design is desired.

Responsibilities

• Digital board design with documentation, schematic capture, and SI/PI analysis.
• Hands-on debugging in lab using test equipment.
• Oversee multiple module designs in a box system with technical oversight.
• Coordinate across Hardware, Logic, Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, Test and Systems Engineers.
• Support full program life-cycle from ATP to delivery, including environmental testing.
• Lead technical matters through SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, PSR.
• Contribute to detailed reviews of FPGA, software, and mechanical designs.
• Provide clear written and verbal communication.
• Limited travel may be required.
