Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking an EEE Parts Component Engineer to lead parts selection, obsolescence management, and data handling for space projects. You will collaborate with design, supply chain, quality, and reliability teams to ensure part quality and standardization across programs.

The role requires deep knowledge of EEE parts qualification, PCN/GIDEP processes, and a blend of hands-on technical leadership with process improvement. Clearance eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field; 8+ years experience; graduate degree with 6+ years or 15 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with component obsolescence tools and methods.
• Experience with end-of-life management, COTS, and counterfeit parts.
• Experience in setting up EDM and Parts Management practices.
• Understanding EEE parts qualification and screening requirements.
• Knowledge of JEDEC, EIA, IPC standards and related military/NASA/ESA standards.
• Knowledge of ECMP and Quality Assurance practices for Electronic Component Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead parts selection, management, creation, and quality control for high-technology space programs.
• Address obsolescence and counterfeit parts management in a lean environment and guide cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with Engineering, supply chain, quality, and reliability to ensure design compliance and part standardization.
• Review PCNs and GIDEP alerts for component impact and advise affected teams.
