Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering spanning system-level architecture, electronics design, and hands-on test.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven ownership of electronics architecture for complex systems from concept to bring-up.
• Strong analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics design experience.
• Ability to deliver hardware on aggressive timelines and iterate in rapid design cycles.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical architecture for imaging payloads and drive architectural tradeoffs.
• Lead PCB design, layout, bring-up, and qualification for EO/IR sensor systems.
• Translate system models into electrical requirements and validate them.
• Drive rapid design-build-test cycles to flight-ready designs in twelve months.
• Design for space environment: radiation, thermal, vacuum, vibration, and launch loads.
• Ensure manufacturability and assembly early in the schematic phase.
• Lead board bring-up, integration, and troubleshooting in lab and tests.
• Collaborate with firmware, optics, mechanical, and program teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Mentor engineers and participate in design reviews as electronics anchor.
