Responsibilities

  • Develop space base, depreciation, lease costs and land improvements for IDC proposals.
  • Manage University Space Inventory for on- and off-campus buildings, ensuring compliance with Space Inventory Instructions and space mapping guidelines.
  • Use CRIS to develop cost pools and allocate costs for indirect cost proposals.
  • Create and maintain training materials; train 300+ departmental space coordinators on process requirements and cost implications of functional code usage.
  • Serve as owner/administrator of the PI Lab Usage System (ePLUS); collaborate with PIs to identify laboratory space used for research in indirect cost studies.
  • Coordinate annual capital building assessments for depreciation and land improvements with multiple departments and external assessors.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analyses to support cost justification; communicate findings to inform management decisions and support audit negotiations with ONR.
