Job summary

Odyssey Space Research, LLC seeks a seasoned Senior Contracts Manager to own the end-to-end contract lifecycle for aerospace, defense, and space programs. Based in Houston, TX (preferred) or Boulder, CO, you will partner across Legal, Finance, PM, BD, Engineering, Supply Chain, Security, and leadership.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive contracts experience in aerospace/defense.
• Experience with NASA/DoD contracting and negotiations with contracting officers.
• FAR Part 12 and 15 knowledge, plus flowdowns under DFARS and NASA FAR Supplement.
• Experience supporting DCAA audits and incurred cost proposals/submissions.
• Owning contracts from intake through closeout with risk-aware decisions.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into practical business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the full contract lifecycle from intake to closeout, including renewals and modifications.
• Lead contract negotiations with NASA, DoD, prime contractors, and space customers.
• Assess terms, identify risks across legal, regulatory, financial, and operational areas.
• Bridge legal and business requirements to protect the company and enable growth.
• Provide crisp executive summaries of risks and recommended positions.
• Develop and improve templates, clause playbooks, and CLM workflows.
