Job summary

KBR is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to join our Hemisphere team in El Segundo, CA supporting Space Systems Command. This is a contingent position based upon contract award. Successful candidates will have over 10 years of experience in contracting, acquisition lifecycle and related processes.

Experience in highly classified environments and support for protect and defend missions within space control domain. Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility; willing to take a polygraph.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of contracting and acquisition lifecycle experience.
• Experience in highly classified environments supporting protect and defend missions.
• Strong DoD/IC acquisition lifecycle knowledge and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide acquisition, engineering, and technical advisory support for space programs across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle.
• Support cost, schedule, and performance assessments across all program phases.
• Draft JCIDS and acquisition documentation such as Initial Capability Documents and CONOPS per DoD standards.
• Prepare SME-level technical and programmatic status reports for programs or portfolios.
• Identify areas for acquisition process improvement and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support PPBE activities including congressional reporting and POM development.
• Review contractor deliverables and support DCMA surveillance reviews and evaluations.
