Job summary

KBR seeks a Space Acquisition Support Specialist in El Segundo, CA to support the STAR DST contract for PEO/SDACP. The role emphasizes data consolidation, programmatic documentation, and contract management across DoD space programs.

Ideal candidates have a technical or business degree, 15+ years in government acquisition, EVMS knowledge, and TS/SCI eligibility. Some travel is required in a multi-contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business management field.
• 15+ years of government acquisition management experience.
• Familiar with DoD space acquisition lifecycle processes.
• Knowledge of DoD space systems.
• Understanding EVMS (Earned Value Management).
• Leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to work in multi-contractor environments.
• Some travel required; DoD TS/SCI eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and consolidate data to generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.
• Support development of PMR slides, briefing papers, and programmatic docs.
• Develop responses to programmatic taskers for PMA approval.
• Provide support for management of all ESBMC2 contracts.
• Support RFPs, PWS development, evaluations, source selection, and contract management.
• Monitor cost, schedule, and performance against baselines to identify negative trends.
