Job summary

Tecolote Research, Inc. is seeking a Senior Acquisition Advisor to support the Program Acquisition Executive (PAE) in managing the SBST portfolio in Chantilly, VA.

The role requires deep acquisition and program management expertise, and the ability to produce decision-ready materials for senior leadership. Responsibilities include advising on budget strategy, resource allocation, and program execution, with a focus on aligning priorities, schedules, and funding across the Space Force acquisition

Qualifications

• Experience in Acquisition Management, Program Management, and Budget in national security space enterprises.
• Knowledge of Space Force acquisition leadership requirements for complex programs and budgets.
• Ability to translate complex information into concise executive-level briefings and narratives.
• Must be able to work independently and provide candid, objective advice on sensitive issues.

Responsibilities

• Advise PAE on resource allocation to reflect priorities and maximize portfolio outcomes.
• Translate technical, acquisition, and budget data into briefing slides and leadership narratives.
• Support SBST portfolio management, advising on performance, strategy, and risks.
• Develop decision-quality briefing materials and executive summaries for senior leadership.
