General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking an Internal Controls Sr Manager to lead the SOX and ICFR programs, ensuring controls are designed, implemented, and operating effectively across the business.

This role reports to the Assistant Controller and collaborates with Corporate and GDIT Finance and Operations teams to support compliance and audit activities. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience, with strong knowledge of PCAOB, US GAAP, ICFR,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of related experience in SOX/internal controls/audit.
• Strong knowledge of PCAOB, US GAAP, ICFR, and COSO.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the SOX program, coordinating annual control testing with external auditors.
• Lead the SOX and Internal Controls team and oversee the internal audit vendor.
• Prepare annual SOX Scoping and Risk Assessments and monitor control design/operation.
• Assist with control design, liaising with process owners to ensure up-to-date documentation.
• Conduct walkthroughs for changes in processes/systems impacting controls.
• Drive process and control improvements with process owners.
• Manage the Internal Audit program including risk assessment and audit planning.
• Stay informed on legislation and regulatory guidance impacting ICFR.
• Collaborate across functions to apply best practices in financial compliance.
