Urban Plates in Playa Vista, CA is seeking a Restaurant Sous Chef / Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the Chef/Executive Kitchen Manager in daily culinary operations, ensuring high-quality food and guest satisfaction.

You will lead BOH team members, manage cost of goods and inventory, work with state-of-the-art equipment, and participate in our renowned 9-week management training program with a straightforward bonus plan.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking from scratch with fresh, quality ingredients.
• Experience supporting with the management of Cost of Goods and inventory management.
• Hands on experience leading, directing, and supporting BOH Team Members including Prep and Line Cooks, Sous Chefs, and Jr. Sous Chefs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef/Executive Kitchen Manager (EKM) in the management of all culinary operations and duties.
• Ensure the quality of food delivered to guests and kitchen execution.
• Drive profitable sales growth and lead BOH team members.
