Job summary

Kimpton Brice Hotel in Savannah is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead daily production, planning and presentation of all hotel food for our restaurant and room service. You will manage procurement, supervise the kitchen staff, ensure safety, and drive cost controls while maintaining quality and compliance with HEI standards.

Ideal candidates bring several years of hotel kitchen experience, strong leadership and communications skills, and a passion for guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of post-high school education; culinary education is desirable.
• Five+ years in a related position within hotel or hospitality.
• Hotel kitchen experience preferred and advantageous.
• Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession.
• Experience leading and developing staff; budgeting, scheduling, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Plan, produce, and present food for hotel restaurants and room service.
• Lead kitchen staff and manage procurement, production, and service in a safe, sanitary environment.
• Control labor and food costs; prepare reports and schedules to meet budgets.
• Oversee sanitation, equipment maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist and potentially stand in for the Executive Chef when needed.
• Ensure attendance and reliable work schedule; perform other duties as assigned.
