Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring immediately for full-time Sous Chef positions at Good Samaritan, 1309 North Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, FL. Schedule is 5:00 am to 8:30 pm, days may vary, with previous related experience preferred.

In this role you’ll lead cooks, prepare food to approved recipes, ensure food safety, supervise staff, manage inventory, handle customer inquiries, and maintain high standards across service hours.

Qualifications

• Previous related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and performance reviews.
• Stores food in designated areas following all food safety procedures and sanitation standards.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and ensures proper food handling and serving temperatures.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Keeps up with peak production and service hours.
• Monitors inventory and deliveries, tracks production and waste, and informs supervisor when supplies are low.
