Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring immediately for a full-time Sous Chef in West Palm Beach, FL. Location: Good Samaritan, 1309 North Flagler Drive. Schedule: 5:00 am to 8:30 pm; days vary.

Primary duties include assisting the Executive Chef, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring quality, safety, and sanitation standards. Previous related experience is preferred; on-site role with competitive hourly pay of $26–$29.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and reviews as appropriate.
• Stores food in designated areas following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils; cleans workstation and displays area during service.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and explains them to staff and customers.
• Keeps up with peak production and service hours.
• Monitors inventory and deliveries; tracks production, consumption and waste; informs supervisor when low.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
