You will identify suppliers globally with local sourcing when feasible, negotiate master supply agreements, and collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to optimize cost and on-time delivery while maintaining safety and ethics compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing or procurement in a production environment.
• Solid negotiation skills and KPI reporting ability.
• Analyze problems with root-cause analysis and data-driven thinking.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints/technical specifications; SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research new suppliers globally with local sourcing when feasible.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and production teams on material requirements.
• Develop supplier relationships and serve as escalation point of contact.
• Negotiate Master Supply Agreements per company requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement via root-cause analysis on KPI metrics.
• Map commodity strategies and support cost-reduction initiatives.
• Support vendor creation and maintenance in the ERP system.
• Ensure purchasing plans align with production needs and lowest TCO.
• Participate in supplier business reviews and scorecard processes.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders; ensure safety and ethics compliance.
