Job summary

Deloitte in the United States is seeking a Manager for Sourcing & Procurement to lead direct materials sourcing and cost transformation, driving client value through analytics, process design, and technology-enabled procurement.

You will manage multiple workstreams, mentor teams, and collaborate across onshore and offshore groups, with exposure to Coupa, Ariba, and iValua, and travel roughly 50%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in consulting, industry, or both.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience leading sourcing and procurement projects from strategy through implementation.
• Experience with spend analytics, RFP processes, strategic sourcing execution, category management, operational procurement, demand management, and supplier management.
• Experience leading project teams or workstreams.
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Responsibilities

• Leading sourcing and procurement project delivery across process design, data analytics, solution configuration, deployment, testing, knowledge management, and performance metric development.
• Advising clients on supply chain and operations strategy and translating findings into sourcing strategies, total cost of ownership models, and recommendations for client executives.
• Managing multiple workstreams and leading onshore and offshore teams in a client service environment.
• Supporting transformation initiatives using eProcurement technology solutions such as Coupa, Ariba, and iValua.
• Assessing category cost drivers, supplier opportunities, and large datasets to identify trends, insights, and cost improvement opportunities.
