Job summary

S&C Electric Company is hiring a Senior Sourcing Manager to lead global sourcing and contract manufacturing strategies for PCBA/boards. You will own relationships with key suppliers, guide cross-functional teams, and drive risk management across the supplier network.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of demonstrated experience working with electronics suppliers in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record in managing global sourcing projects with complex supply chains and international sourcing strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; MBA and professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing and contract manufacturing strategies across value streams; own relationships with critical suppliers and partners.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to strengthen supplier capabilities, reduce risk, and improve manufacturing readiness.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Product Management to align sourcing strategies with business goals.
• Establish enterprise-wide supplier selection, qualification, and risk management strategies; drive critical sourcing decisions and supplier assessments.
• Own supplier readiness for new product development; manage BOM risk and end-of-life components.
• Ensure sourcing compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
• Drive supplier performance and continuous improvement across quality, cost, delivery, and risk.

Compensation:

The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $105,940 - $140,375 Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.

Essential Functions:

• Global Sourcing Strategy & Supplier Management:Develop and execute global sourcing and contract manufacturing (PCBAs/Boards) strategies across all S&C value streams, ensuring alignment with long‑term businessobjectives, growth initiatives, and product roadmaps. Serve as S&C's subject matter expert for contract manufacturing and strategic supplier management, providing leadership and guidance to cross‑functional teams. Own relationships with S&C's most critical global suppliers and contract manufacturing partners, influencing supplier investment decisions, capacity allocation, technology roadmaps, and long‑term partnership strategies.

• Agility of supply:Lead cross‑functional efforts to strengthen supplier capabilities, improve manufacturing readiness,prioritize technical support to addressobsolescence, and actively workto develop and implement strategies to effectively reduce risk.

• Cross Functional Alignment:Serve as a strategic partner to Operations, Engineering, Quality, Product Management, andfunctional leadership to align contract manufacturing strategies with S&C's businessobjectives, growth initiatives, and product roadmaps. Lead cross-functionaleffort toestablish standard operating proceduresfor contract manufacturingwith clear roles & responsibilities to streamline work,increase speed of execution, and ensureclarity of rolesacross all functions.

• Supplier Selection, Qualification,& Risk Management:Support the Sr. Manager of CM toestablishenterprise‑wide supplier selection,qualification, risk management strategies across S&C's globalcontract manufacturing and electronics supplier network.Lead critical sourcing decisions, supplier assessments, and executive reviews, ensuring suppliers align with S&C's long‑termoperational, financial, and innovationobjectives. Anticipate and mitigate strategic supply chain risks while driving supply continuity, capacity assurance, and long‑term supplier capability development to support sustainable business growth.

• New Product Development& End-of-Life Component Strategy:Ownsupplier selection process for new product development initiatives. Coordinate BOM riskcalculation updates andassociated risk reduction strategies.Establish supplier readiness framework and governing process for meeting project milestones andminimizingrisk associated withend-of-life, obsolete or sole sourcecomponents and latedesign changes.

• Sourcing Compliance: Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, corporate policies, and local laws across sourcing activities. Support international business units in ensuring that their sourcing practices are compliant.

• Supplier Performance& Continuous Improvement:Drive supplier performance improvements across quality, cost, delivery, innovation, and risk management while ensuring a resilient, scalable, and competitivecontract manufacturing and electronics supplier network.

• Company Compliance:Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

Required

• 7+ years ofdemonstratedexperience workingwith electronics suppliers in themanufacturing industry.

• Proven track record in managing global sourcing projects with complex supply chains,demonstrating deep knowledge of international sourcing strategies and supplier management.

• Sound understanding of manufacturing processes for industrial products and components.

• Ability to manage large-scale sourcing projects with minimal oversight, providing direction to cross-functionalteams and ensuring project goals are met.

• Great critical thinking, organizational, planning and project management skills, coordinating internal and external resources, creative problem-solving when obstacles arise, and juggling a heavy volume of diverse operational/tactical projectsto deadlines and budgets.

• Greatinterpersonal skills toestablish meaningful relationships built on mutual trust and respect, navigate and resolve conflict, moderatebehaviors and foster collaborative working relationships amongst a diverse audience.

• Sound communication skills, (written, verbal, listening and presentation) able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at alllevels from leadership to support staff.Ability to influenceseniorleaders and cross-functional teams toward making sound supply management decisions.

• Sound business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to use and analyze data to drive informed decisions, problem-solve difficult issues and leverage data and learnings to drive continuous improvement.

• Excellent financial acumen and numerical ability tomake strategic financial decisions andparticipate innegotiations to maximum effectiveness.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
