Job summary

S&C Electric is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager in the United States to lead global sourcing strategies and manage contract manufacturing partners for PCBAs and boards.

You will own critical supplier relationships, align with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Product Management, and drive risk management and continuous improvement.

This role requires 7+ years of electronics supplier experience and a track record of delivering results across global sourcing.

Compensation:

At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $105,940 - $140,375 Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C's annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.

Essential Functions:

• Global Sourcing Strategy & Supplier Management: Develop and execute global sourcing and contract manufacturing (PCBAs/Boards) strategies across all S&C value streams, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives, growth initiatives, and product roadmaps. Serve as S&C's subject matter expert for contract manufacturing and strategic supplier management, providing leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams. Own relationships with S&C's most critical global suppliers and contract manufacturing partners, influencing supplier investment decisions, capacity allocation, technology roadmaps, and long‑term partnership strategies.
• Ag ility of supply: Lead cross-functional efforts to strengthen supplier capabilities, improve manufacturing readiness, prioritize technical support to address obsolescence, and actively work to develop and implement strategies to effectively reduce risk.
• Cross Functional Alignment: Serve as a strategic partner to Operations, Engineering, Quality, Product Management, and functional leadership to align contract manufacturing strategies with S&C's business objectives, growth initiatives, and product roadmaps. Lead cross‑functional effort to establish standard operating procedures for contract manufacturing with clear roles & responsibilities to streamline work, increase speed of execution, and ensure clarity of roles across all functions.
• Supplier Selection, Qualification, & Risk Management: Support the Sr. Manager of CM to establish enterprise‑wide supplier selection, qualification, risk‑management strategies across S&C's global contract manufacturing and electronics supplier network. Lead critical sourcing decisions, supplier assessments, and executive reviews, ensuring suppliers align with S&C's long‑term operational, financial, and innovation objectives. Anticipate and mitigate strategic supply chain risks while driving supply continuity, capacity assurance, and long‑term supplier capability development to support sustainable business growth.
• New Product Development & End‑of‑Life Component Strategy: Own supplier selection process for new product development initiatives. Coordinate BOM risk calculation updates and associated risk reduction strategies. Establish supplier readiness framework and governing process for meeting project milestones and minimizing risk associated with end‑of‑life, obsolete or sole source components and late design changes.
• Sourcing Compliance: Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, corporate policies, and local laws across sourcing activities. Support international business units in ensuring that their sourcing practices are compliant.
• Supplier Performance & Continuous Improvement: Drive supplier performance improvements across quality, cost, delivery, innovation, and risk management while ensuring a resilient, scalable, and competitive contract manufacturing and electronics supplier network.
• Company Compliance: Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules .

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

Required

• 7+ years of demonstrated experience working with electronics suppliers in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record in managing global sourcing projects with complex supply chains, demonstrating deep knowledge of international sourcing strategies and supplier management.
• Sound understanding of manufacturing processes for industrial products and components.
• Ability to manage large-scale sourcing projects with minimal oversight, providing direction to cross-functional teams and ensuring project goals are met.
• Great critical thinking, organizational, planning and project management skills, coordinating internal and external resources, creative problem-solving when obstacles arise, and juggling a heavy volume of diverse operational/tactical projects to deadlines and budgets .
• Great interpersonal skills to establish meaningful relationships built on mutual trust and respect, navigate and resolve conflict, moderate behaviors and foster collaborative working relationships amongst a diverse audience.
