Job summary

Crane Co. is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Manager to lead supplier relationships and strategic sourcing for the Nuclear- Reuter Stokes unit. You will drive cost-value optimization, due diligence, and end-to-end supplier management across global supply chains.

The role requires 10+ years in sourcing, strong negotiation and leadership capabilities, and experience with ERP/MRP systems and SAP. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or similar degree.
• APICS certification is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in sourcing and supply chain management.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supplier development.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team and manage responsibilities in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and negotiate supplier agreements.
• Lead sourcing strategies, including single/sole source mitigation and vendor value.
• Oversee end-of-life and obsolescence decisions and supplier quality processes.
• Manage KPIs related to inflation, deflation, and tariffs; drive risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with operations and commercial teams to optimize SAP workflows and forecasts.
• Lead a team of sourcing specialists, buyers, and supplier quality engineers.
