Job summary

Keenova is seeking a Senior Category Manager, External Manufacturing & CMO Sourcing in Malvern, PA to define and execute enterprise sourcing strategies for CMOs, CPOs, and other external partners. You will drive business continuity, risk mitigation, and cost effectiveness across the product portfolio while collaborating with Legal, Quality, and R&D to ensure compliant, value-adding supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 8–12+ years in pharmaceutical external manufacturing sourcing, supply chain, or operations.
• 4–6 years leading cross-functional sourcing teams.
• 1–3 years consulting with VPs/Directors on purchasing decisions.
• Proven experience managing CMO/CPO relationships and negotiating complex manufacturing agreements.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop global CMO strategies aligned to pipeline and commercial needs.
• Design resilient manufacturing networks considering capacity, cost, regulatory, and geographic risk.
• Lead business continuity planning including dual sourcing and disruption response.
• Integrate with Supply Chain planning, S&OP, and inventory strategies.
• Initiate supplier discovery and develop strategic alliances with leading suppliers.
