Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Analyst to lead sourcing activities for new product development and current products within assigned commodities.

This role will develop and implement supplier strategies, manage a multi-million dollar spend, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive cost reductions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing, strong negotiation skills, and a BS in SCM (APICS a plus).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing and commodity management.
• Experience with castings, metal fabrication, hydraulics, drivetrains, engines, or plastics.
• BS in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
• APICS certification would be a plus.
• Willingness to travel 20–30%.

Responsibilities

• Drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize supplier relationships.
• Manage $30–$50 million commodity spend and develop sourcing strategies.
• Lead negotiations and execute master supplier agreements.
• Analyze purchase volumes to drive supplier consolidation and cost reduction.
• Lead supplier selection for Global and Regional strategies for current products and NPD components.
• Mentor and train Sourcing team members.
