Job summary

DIGITALL Nature Corp seeks a Senior Sophos Security Administrator to support and maintain an established security environment. You will operate within a 24/7 SOC context with a focus on German-language communication with end users, MSPs, and vendors.

Your role includes configuring policies, monitoring incidents, and collaborating on security projects across Sophos products and SIEM tools in a global organization.

Qualifications

• Fluent German language skills (spoken and written).
• Hands-on experience with Sophos Firewall administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and support.
• Strong knowledge of Sophos Central management and monitoring.
• Experience with Sophos Intercept X endpoint security administration and support.
• Understanding of Sophos MDR/XDR capabilities and operational processes.
• Experience with Exabeam SIEM for log analysis, monitoring, and incident investigation.
• Experience with Qualys Vulnerability Management and remediation processes.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, VLANs, NAT, firewall policies).
• Incident and problem management experience within enterprise IT support.

Responsibilities

• Participate in engineering and project activities, including network segmentation and security improvements.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous service improvements.

We are seeking a Senior Sophos Security Administrator to support and maintain an established security environment. The technology landscape includes Sophos Firewall, Sophos Central, Sophos Intercept X, Sophos MDR/XDR, Exabeam SIEM, and Qualys Vulnerability Management.

The resource will join an existing security team and operate within established support, monitoring, escalation, and governance processes. While the role may occasionally involve Level 1 security-related investigations, a dedicated 24/7 SOC team is in place to manage ongoing security monitoring and incident response activities. A fluent German speaker is mandatory for this role. The position requires regular verbal communication with end users, stakeholders, MSPs, and third-party software vendors.

This is your job:

• Provide operational support and maintenance for the existing Sophos security environment.
• Administer, monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to Sophos security products.
• Configure and implement security policies, firewall rules, endpoint protection, and related security controls.
• Support integration and operational activities involving Exabeam SIEM and Qualys Vulnerability Management.
• Manage and resolve support tickets while ensuring compliance with established operational procedures and SLAs.
• Collaborate with internal teams, end users, MSPs, and third-party vendors in German.
• Participate in engineering and project activities, including network segmentation and security improvement initiatives.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous service improvements.

The successful candidate will be expected to independently manage day-to-day support activities, ensure platform stability, and deliver high-quality operational support within an established security services environment.

Your qualifications:Must Have:

• Fluent German language skills (spoken and written), including direct customer and vendor communication.
• Hands-on experience with Sophos Firewall administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and support.
• Strong knowledge of Sophos Central management and monitoring.
• Experience with Sophos Intercept X endpoint security administration and support.
• Understanding of Sophos MDR/XDR capabilities and operational processes.
• Experience with Exabeam SIEM for log analysis, monitoring, and incident investigation.
• Experience with Qualys Vulnerability Management and vulnerability remediation processes.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, VLANs, NAT, firewall policies)
• Incident and problem management experience within an enterprise support environment.

• Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience working within established ITIL-based support and operational processes.
• Strong documentation and ticket management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Sophos certifications (e.g., Sophos Firewall Administrator, Sophos Engineer, Sophos Architect).
• Experience with network segmentation and security implementation projects.
• Experience integrating Sophos products with SIEM platforms and third-party security tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft security technologies (Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, Sentinel).
• Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR/XDR) solutions beyond Sophos.
• Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Experience working with MSPs or managed security service environments.
• Understanding of SOC operations, threat detection, and incident response processes.
• ITIL Foundation or related service management certifications.
• General cloud security knowledge (Azure, AWS, or Microsoft 365 environments).
