Job summary

SGMC Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform routine and vascular ultrasound imaging, assist in ultrasound-guided procedures, and maintain equipment in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication with diverse patients, and flexibility in scheduling. Full-time day shifts with competitive benefits are offered in the Professional Building.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Radiology/Sonography program and eligible for ARRT/ARDMS certification.
• Certification in ARRT, RDMS, ARDMS, or CCI is required.
• Ability to establish working relationships with staff and other personnel.
• Effective communication with diverse patient populations.
• Flexible scheduling and ability to handle variable workloads.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to document clinical information.
• Knowledge of SGMC Health policies and regulatory rules.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and vascular ultrasound imaging.
• Assist physicians in ultrasound-guided interventional procedures.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and prepare scanning room.
