Qualifications

  • BLS for Healthcare Providers within 6 months.
  • Ability to differentiate normal vs pathologic findings with accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

  • Operate ultrasound equipment for general, vascular, and/or cardiac studies.
  • Review medical records and physician orders to ensure exam accuracy.
  • Position patients and adjust transducers and factors for quality images.
  • Identify and label images with patient details and scan location.
  • Document results and billing codes in the radiology information system.
  • Communicate findings to the referring physician.
  • Maintain safety andComfort for patients; comply with policies.
  • Demonstrate age-appropriate care and adaptability to patient needs.
  • Ensure equipment and product evaluation for future use.
