About The Role

Solutions Engineers at Confluent are key in early-stage evaluation and ongoing customer value realization. They partner with Account Executives to serve as technical advisors, understanding customer needs and designing solutions. They facilitate discussions, inspire adoption of new patterns, and help overcome technical challenges, fostering customer success and technology adoption.

What You Will Do

• Advance innovative Data Streaming use cases from conception to Go-Live
• Lead Technical Proofs of Concept
• Conduct Discovery & Whiteboard Sessions to develop new use-cases
• Deliver Technical Talks and Workshops to provide Thought Leadership
• Help customers optimize their Confluent deployments with hands-on guidance
• Analyze customer data to identify optimization opportunities
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams and advocate for customers
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders

What You Will Bring

• 5+ years of Solutions Engineering or similar experience
• Experience with Event-Driven architecture, Data Integration, Processing Techniques, Database & Data Warehouse technologies
• Exposure to Cloud Architecture, Migrations, Deployment, and Application Development
• Knowledge of Automation, GitOps, and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or SQL
• Technical certifications in Cloud, Data Engineering, or Integration
• Self-starter attitude, eagerness to learn, problem-solving skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Experience presenting to technical and executive audiences
