Job summary

National Vision is seeking a Senior Solutions Owner for Retail Applications Engineering to lead delivery and coordination of store and platform transformation initiatives. You will drive alignment across product, engineering, design, and business stakeholders while balancing delivery commitments with long-term architecture goals.

The role requires 7+ years in project/program management for enterprise platforms, plus 2-4 years delivering cross-team initiatives, with strong executive communication

Qualifications

• Four year college degree or equivalent experience.
• Business Administration, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Software Engineering (Required)
• 7+ years Project or Program Management for enterprise platforms (Required)
• 2-4 years Delivers complex, cross-team initiatives, balancing delivery speed with long-term direction (Required)

Responsibilities

• Drives alignment across product, engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
• Manages timelines, dependencies, and risk across workstreams.
• Partners with Business Analyst to ensure requirements are clear and sequenced appropriately.
• Clearly presents trade-offs and risks, ensuring governance is in place to prevent duplicate or throw-away work.
• Ensures the project's technical documents (requirements, architecture, functional specifications, technical specifications, testing plans, training, etc.) are thorough, signed off on by the stakeholders, and maintained throughout the project.
