Job summary

BEUMER Group in North America seeks a Solutions Manager to develop and execute control, electrical, and software scope for warehouse automation projects. You will work with customers and partners, capture requirements, and coordinate with Systems Engineering to deliver robust solutions.

You will analyze processes, design scalable solutions, and prepare proposals, estimates and documentation while traveling up to 40% to support customers and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years' experience in controls, software and electrical scope for warehouse automation.
• Knowledge of PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), WCS, TMS, RFID, barcode, EDI, IoT.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes and industry best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Project management experience.
• Certifications such as IEEE affiliations preferred.
• MS Office proficiency.
• CAD and Visio familiarity.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Capture functional requirements for end-to-end convey and sortation solutions.
• Develop and map functionalities aligned with customer specs.
• Evaluate technologies to identify best options based on requirements, scalability and cost.
• Design solutions after analyzing data, requirements, and portfolio options.
• Analyze logistics workflows to identify bottlenecks and optimize efficiency.
• Develop estimates and cost calculations for electrical, controls and software scope.
• Create documentation, user manuals, and training materials; provide stakeholder training.
• Support engineering with software and controls specifications.
• Assist LS sales on RFP clarifications.
