Job summary

Acquia is seeking a remote Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Pre-sales team in the USA. This full-time role focuses on crafting technical solutions using Rust, Go, Drupal, Excel and Unity to address customer needs and map them to Acquia products.

You will collaborate with sales, engineering and product teams, participate in customer meetings, and help customers leverage the Acquia Cloud Platform. Prior SaaS/pre-sales experience and passion for open source are valued.

Qualifications

• B.S. or similar technical degree (Computer Science preferred).
• 1–3 years of customer-facing experience; SaaS/pre-sales is highly preferred.
• Experience with Drupal and cloud architectures; a passion for web and open-source development.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep knowledge of Acquia’s products, solutions, and value propositions.
• Gather customer business needs to tailor the right solution with Acquia products.
• Create solution proposals, presentations, and other customer communications.
• Research, scope, and estimate Drupal solutions for enterprise-grade applications.
• Combat competitive threats and educate customers on Acquia’s values and benefits.
• Facilitate smooth transition from sales to delivery by orienting teams to the solution design.
• Lead or participate in customer-facing meetings and maintain relationships with partners and prospects.
• Engage with product team to drive customer requests and influence the product roadmap.
