Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a senior solutions architect to guide business and technical architectures across new and existing products and services, including crafting use-cases, reviewing designs, and delivering compelling proposals.

Hybrid work location between the GDIT facility in Herndon, VA and remote, with 15+ years of experience and a BS in Computer Science or related field.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical and business solutions.
• Identify solutions based on criteria, analyze alternatives, and implement designs.
• Research current technologies and tailor process methodologies as needed.
• Assess current architectures and work with staff to propose improvements.
• Ensure technology architecture teams deliver efficient, effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain service design procedures and processes with frameworks.
• Prepare and present test plans, technical presentations, and analyst briefings.
• Identify customer requirements, analyze options, and make product recommendations on software, platform and network configurations.
• Provide updates to stakeholders on cost, schedule and quality.
