Job summary

ePlus Technology, inc. seeks a Senior Solutions Architect in the Chicago area to act as a trusted technical advisor on networking and security solutions.

This role collaborates with customers, ePlus sales, and manufacturers to specify and quote product and services solutions, driving opportunities with up-to-date product knowledge. You will develop architecture, draft BOMs, present to customers, and lead presales efforts while mentoring teams.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in the Partner space with five+ years in presales engineering.
• Enterprise and data center networking and security engineering expertise with listed vendors.
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to sales teams and customers on networking and security solution focus areas.
• Establish credibility and trusted advisor status with sales teams and customers.
• Conduct customer-facing presentations on core competencies and technical solution offerings.
• Assist sales with technical aspects of account planning and opportunity qualification.
• Complete and author technical sections for RFP/RFI/RFQ responses.
• Develop and finalize solution architecture/design and BOMs.
• Lead technical scoping/reviews with sales teams and customers.
• Serve as SME for customer staff regarding proposed solution and its design, configuration, implementation, and testing specifics.
