Job summary

KGS LLC is seeking a Sr Solutions Architect for the Amazon Leo for Government (ALG) team, focusing on DoD customers in the Northern Virginia area. You will define Leo Government product families, collaborate with business development, and translate customer needs into scalable architecture and product roadmaps.

The role involves leading cross-functional efforts with engineering and leadership to balance features and speed-to-launch while ensuring requirements and performance targets such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• 3+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• 8+ years of experience managing product development for satellite technologies and satellite communications systems.

Responsibilities

• Define product roadmaps, product description documents, and engineering requirements documents for products and product families.
• Create detailed product requirements documents based on knowledge of customer verticals (local, state, federal, DoD) with use case prioritization.
• Work with leadership to set customer strategy and trade-offs between features and speed-to-launch.
• Research and identify opportunities to innovate for customers.
• Collaborate with customers, business development and engineering to ensure the product meets requirements.
