Job summary

Databricks seeks a Mission Solutions Architect to drive data architecture discussions with customers across the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. You will lead technical engagements, develop reference architectures, and guide customers through proofs of concept using Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, and Unity Catalog.

You will collaborate with sales, post-sales, and product teams, travel within your territory, and become a trusted advisor helping customers achieve meaningful business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role with big-data tech.
• Experience designing distributed data systems and architectures.
• Proficient in at least one programming language (Python/SQL/Scala/Java/R).
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and data warehousing tech (SQL/OLAP).

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements to architect and demonstrate the Databricks platform.
• Provide technical leadership for evaluating and adopting Databricks.
• Develop reference architectures, proofs of concept, and integration guides.
• Travel to customer sites to deliver engagements and workshops.
