Job summary

F5 is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to act as a trusted technical architect for Fortune 500 enterprises, shaping and selling modern application delivery and security solutions across multi-cloud and edge environments. You will drive modernization initiatives, align with sales teams, and influence product roadmaps.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in pre-sales or equivalent roles, strong enterprise experience, and a passion for secure, scalable architectures.

Qualifications

8+ years in pre-sales engineering or equivalent customer-aligned solutions architecture role.
Experience with large enterprise accounts, especially in regulated industries.
Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into business outcomes.
Experience with WAAP/API gateways and modern cloud networking practices.
Familiarity with AI workloads security and data services.

Responsibilities

Strategic Technical Partnership with CISOs and Cloud Architects to translate goals into architectural blueprints.
Guide customers on modernization journeys from legacy to modern hybrid architectures.
Architect modern App Delivery & Security including WAAP, Bot Defense, DDoS mitigation, and Zero Trust.
Enable Cloud-Native & AI transformation across traffic management, Kubernetes ingress, and AI gateways.
Bridge security and developer velocity using Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines.
