Job summary

ExtraHop’s Solutions Architecture team focuses on customer outcomes and success, tackling complex business and technology problems across industries. As a Solutions Architect, you’ll help customers leverage the ExtraHop platform to protect and optimize networks and security operations.

You will work on GUI and REST API scripting, cloud design in AWS, Azure, and GCP, and collaborate with SOC teams to reduce Mean-Time-To-Respond, while delivering real-time data visualizations and customized

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of relevant experience.
• BS degree or equivalent.
• Experience in customer-facing positions; excellent interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of core networking principles (layers 2 through 4 of the OSI model) and application protocols (HTTP, SQL, CIFS/NFS, HL7, Memcache, DNS).
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript.
• Excellent written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advanced GUI development.
• Advanced Trigger Script development.
• Intermediate external REST API script development.
• Intermediate understanding of networking.
• Intermediate understanding of application design.
• Understand, develop, and implement Cloud network design in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Work with SOC and Incident Response Teams on workflows using network data. Decrease Mean-time-to-Respond.
• Develop custom tools using Python and JavaScript-based APIs to extend the functionality of the ExtraHop platform.
• Develop customized data analysis to monitor changing technical and business conditions in real-time.
• Create rich data visualizations to aid tactical investigations and realize strategic objectives.
• Create automated tools to streamline repeatable processes and maximize time spent building intelligent solutions.
• Conduct hands-on learning sessions with key customer personnel.
