Job summary

Altera Digital Health Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Architect to design and lead enterprise network and security initiatives across on-prem, cloud, data center, and hybrid environments. The role focuses on standards, modernization, and technical leadership aligned with business goals.

You will collaborate with Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Application teams, mentor engineers, and drive architecture diagrams, standards, and implementation guidelines.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of enterprise networking and network security experience.
• Strong experience in LAN/WAN, cloud networking, data center, SD-WAN, and hybrid environments.
• Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, network security, and enterprise network architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Azure or other major cloud platforms.
• Experience leading large-scale network projects and strategic technology initiatives.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available LAN, WAN, data center, cloud, and hybrid network solutions.
• Define network architecture standards, best practices, technology roadmaps, and reference architectures.
• Lead network transformation, modernization, migration, and optimization initiatives.
• Provide expert knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN, VXLAN/EVPN, VPN, QoS, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Design and support Azure/cloud networking and hybrid connectivity solutions.
• Lead complex network troubleshooting and provide senior-level technical guidance.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions based on security, scalability, performance, and cost.
• Collaborate with Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, Application, and business teams.
• Manage relationships with network vendors, carriers, and technology partners.
• Develop architecture diagrams, technical standards, design documents, and implementation guidelines.
• Mentor network engineering teams and provide technical leadership.
